Every fashionista would tell you the importance of accessories in completing the much wanted, trendy look. A bolero jacket is one such accessory. The bolero jacket originated in Spain as part of the gentleman’s dance costume and also as the equestrian rider in bullfights.

 A bolero jacket is a short jacket, sized by bust measurement, so measure appropriately to get your right size. It covers upper torso, shoulders and arms leaving the waist and back exposed. The arm length of the jacket can be cap sleeves, short sleeves, ¾ sleeves or full length. It is commonly paired with a dress or a shirt. However, you would even pair it up with a fitting tee or top. You can even add feathers or tassels on your jacket to enhance the look. There are so many possibilities with this piece of clothing that it makes it a must-have for your wardrobe.
If this is going to be your first bolero, I recommend a lace bolero jacket. You could easily wear this to work and even pair it up with jeans for a more casual look. It is the just right transition piece.
