Great,Indonesia Product Exhibition at Harrods London-Ministry of Commerce once again held in stor promotion at Harrods Department Store,London,England,from July 31 through August 27, 2011. This annual event as an effort to improve the image of Indonesian products in the international market.

"Activity in store promotion conducted in order to build and strengthen the image quality of Indonesian products. In the last five years, the development and variations of Indonesia-class products and more widely along with the development of creative industries in Indonesia," Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu said in a press release on Sunday (31/07/2011).
Harrods Department Store Selection is done considering this place is one of the iconic British tourism, with the number of visits by 13 million visitors per year. That way,Mari added, the placement of these activities at the site,not just reaching the UK and Europe. The world community was included in the range.

"If we do the promotion and sale of products in Harrods, this means we not only penetrated the UK and Europe, but has swept the world," he said.
As for Indonesian products in the exhibition with the theme "Remarkable Indonesia" is a product of the result of selection, among other things made of rattan furniture, handicrafts (ceramics, glassware, handmade copper and aluminum, fan, wood crafts, puppets, natural jute), jewelry ( pearl, silver), fashion (scarves, bags, clothing, batik shawls, lycra leggings, indigo batik sarongs, fabrics are dyed, batik, and clothing), recycled paper, as well as home decor (stationery, cutlery, lamps, furniture others).

Selection is based on natural categories, can be recycled (recycle), and renewable (renewable). Not only non-food products are displayed at the event. Culinary Indonesia, such as the type Rotisserie grill and sea food is placed in the hall.

Promotion event like this will be intensively carried out by this ministry, both at home and abroad. "Therefore, Indonesia should be more vigorous in promoting the product so that the world community to know, appreciate, and buy Indonesian products," he said.
