beauty is pain.
a few excerpts from the exhibition "Extreme Beauty in Vogue", featuring the works of Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, and many others, currently on view in Milan. I really love how the pictures range from surreal, to scary to just plain gorgeous and are really quintessential works of the photographers who took them.
